This new strategic collaboration is also very timely because we are currently recruiting for a new Worker Transport Coordinator to coordinate existing and new transport options across Cumbria which help businesses to get workers to and from their shifts at key times. Working together to address fundamental issues around staff transport and housing will be vital, particularly for young people who may worry about the perceived costs of staying in the county to live and work.”
